Contemporary Art in D.C.

Visitors to the D.C. national mall have myriad opportunities to enjoy cultural events and exhibitions. If you stroll around the outside of the National Museum of the American Indian, then you may notice several contemporary sculptures including the work by Nora Naranjo-Morse, who is the first Native American woman to create outdoor sculpture in Washington, D.C.
Just a couple blocks away, you will encounter massive Chinese zodiac figures by sculptor Ai Weiwei at the Hirshhorn Museum.  A comprehensive exhibition of his work entitled "Ai Weiwei: According to What?" will continue inside the Hirshhorn until February 24, 2013.  Very impressive!
